The St. Andrew’s Parks Legacy Foundation Strengthens Emergency Response Thanks to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation® Grant

Grant is part of more than $109 million awarded by the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation® to support public safety across the U.S.

Charleston, SC (July 21, 2026) – While providing recreation programs to the West Ashley community, it is essential that the St. Andrew’s Parks Legacy Foundation has the tools needed to respond effectively in emergencies. The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation® has recognized this need and recently awarded the agency a $11,000 grant to purchase new automated external defibrillators (AEDs) .

The new automated external defibrillators (AEDs) will be used to replace older units and be placed in strategic locations around the facilities of St. Andrew’s Parks and Playground.

“We are extremely grateful to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and our local Firehouse Subs® West Ashley restaurant for this vital support,” said Joshua Singleton, President, St. Andrew’s Parks Legacy Foundation. “Having reliable, up-to-date equipment enhances our ability to protect lives and better serve our community as they participate in our programs .”

For more than 20 years, charitable donations have powered the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation’s mission to support first responders and public safety organizations nationwide. Since 2005, the Foundation has awarded more than 7,200 grants totaling over $109 million to public safety organizations.
